Shomrim Laboker is proud to collaborate with other synagogues in Montreal to invite you to participate in the project

BAKING THE WORLD A SAFER PLACE

Let's show our appreciation for those who are keeping us safe! Join us on this chain of good by baking cookies that will be delivered before Chanukah to the police, municipal security, firefighters, neighbours, volunteers, security guards and other friends in our communities.

This project was inspired by the amazing story of Rachel Edri, whose cookies saved her  and her husband's lives on October 7.

To get involved, follow the steps below:

1. SIGN UP: Registration is online through this link. You are welcome to choose Shomrim Laboker as your affiliated synagogue and pick up location, but if you don't live in Shomrim's vicinity, please choose your closest shul.

2. KIT PICKUP:  During the week of November 27, you can pick up your kit from the affiliated synagogue you chose. The kit includes a copy of Rachel’s recipe, branded packaging, and drop-off instructions.

3. BAKE AND SHARE: Bake the cookies and other treats. Deliver them on December 6 before 4:00 p.m. to the synagogue you chose as your dropping off location.
